CRM / Marketing Automation Manager (Temporary position)

Vienna Head Office
Marketing

Full Time (Vienna) - 9 month temporary position with the possibility to extend

Diabetes is a pesky monster — and that’s putting it mildly. If you’re serious about helping us face it head on, come join us!

Most of our customers live with insulin-dependent diabetes. Everyday life with diabetes is often tedious and exhausting – and that’s exactly what motivates our work at mySugr. Always driven by our motto to “make diabetes suck less,” we develop award-winning apps, integrate medical devices into our products, and work with health insurance companies and industry partners to make life with diabetes a bit better. For a behind-the-scenes look, check out our Monster Culture blog and this little video to see what makes mySugr tick.

Developing mobile apps is great, but developing mobile apps with a purpose is even better! As a CRM / Marketing Automation Manager at mySugr, you’ll work on a product that helps people with the most precious thing they have — their health.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Manager to help us shape our CRM strategy, set up tailored customer journeys and most importantly build lasting relationships with our customers.

You will set strategies in line with our marketing and business objectives, apply smart segmentation tactics and design sticky multi-channel (email, push, in-app,..) lifecycle campaigns. Ideally, you have previous experience in an app/mobile ecosystem and various customer engagement and CRM tools. You’re able to gain insights into engagement and retention drivers and put those into actionable multi-channel campaigns on a global scale.

This is a great opportunity if you love to be part of an agile team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and want to dedicate your skills to a good cause. You, as a valued member of mySugr, will be helping us to “make diabetes suck less.”

Your upcoming mission:

In this full-time role, you’ll closely cooperate with the product and marketing team and proactively develop and implement a holistic customer engagement strategy from activating new users, driving relevant conversions to re-engaging churned customers.

Your day-to-day work will be focused not only on campaign orchestration and optimizations, but you’ll be able to apply and grow your awesome analytical skills as well: you’ll contribute to the technical platform design, oversee regular reporting including in-depth analysis and KPIs, perform regular A/B tests and cohort analysis based on events, behaviours, transactions, and others.

Last but not least, never forget to keep yourself updated! You’ll stay on top of best practice engagement tactics, analytics, consumer and digital trends and attend related trainings and workshops.

Essential skills for this mission:

  • Considerable and proven hands-on experience in a CRM / Marketing Automation role
  • Solid understanding of activation and engagement tactics, conversions, sales funnels, user journeys and consumer mindsets
  • Experience in working with customer engagement / CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, Braze, Leanplum, Emarsys, Hubspot,..) and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Amplitude, Countly..)
  • You are into numbers and have a strong sense for analytics and data when it comes to measuring success, deriving customer insights, optimizing campaigns, running A/B tests and targeting the right campaigns to the right users
  • Light coding experience and knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Strong project management skills and used to work in cross-department teams with various stakeholders
  • Have an eye for quality and care about details
  • Be a great team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Be a creative problem solver and flexible to changing priorities, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have good working proficiency in English (German optional)

Bonus skills:

  • Strong content development, copywriting and storytelling capabilities
  • User experience and user interface design (especially for mobile applications)
  • Knowledge of the diabetes industry or other comparable health industries
  • Experience working in (mobile) startup environment

Here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Ambitious and passionate people building meaningful products
  • An innovative agile working environment allowing for collaboration with smart people and knowledge sharing in cross-functional teams
  • A growing organization with room for development
  • Not a corporate environment, but the leverage of a global market leader (Roche family)
  • Loads of benefits (brand new Apple hardware, fitness, public transport, lunch benefit, language classes, professional training budget, chance to join global conferences...)
  • Flexible working hours and the opportunity for home office days, 5 weeks vacation
  • A kick-ass office with a rooftop terrace, fully stocked kitchen and amazing barista coffee machines in the middle of Vienna… oh, and did we mention the best team in the world!
