Internship – Global Indirect Procurement, mySugr

(Full-Time, Paid Internship: 6 months Vienna)

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, really passionate about his or her job, and understands that providing a high-quality service is crucial for the organisation. As an ideal team member you are open-minded, curious, dedicated to making a difference and open to constant development. This is a role where you as a talented individual, have the opportunity to step up and take on significant responsibility in identifying, driving and successfully implementing procurement projects.   

Your upcoming mission:

Working as an indirect procurement intern at mySugr will provide you hands-on experience with the operational aspects of procurement and project management in supporting local optimisation projects. You will be responsible for managing your own time to deliver your tasks with support from experienced procurement professionals and leaders. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the global Indirect Procurement organisation in Roche Diabetes Care. 

Day to day responsibilities: 

  • Manage inquires received from business stakeholders
  • Support the creation of Project Requisitions and Purchase Orders
  • Keep in touch with suppliers
  • Support reporting- and documentation activities
  • Support local procurement manager with ongoing optimisation projects

Essential skills for your mission: 

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or another relevant subject. 
  • Work easily with IT applications (e.g. MS office or Google) and see challenges / knowledge limitations as an opportunity to learn
  • Outgoing, structured and see yourself as an executor who get the job done without compromising the quality in your deliverables
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English (and German)
  • You are either an EU citizen or hold a valid Austrian work permit

Bonus skills:

  • Knowledge of the diabetes industry or other comparable health industries
  • Prior experience working in start-up environment or a corporate setting
