We’re celebrating at mySugr and we invite you to join us! 2022 is just getting started and we’ve already reached a huge milestone: four million registered users worldwide! We can't thank you enough for your support and trust!
The past two years have been challenging for everyone, but let’s take time to reflect on some positives. While the COVID-19 pandemic put our health at risk, it also provided us with an opportunity to invest more time in ourselves. For some with diabetes, this meant becoming more engaged with their diabetes management than ever before and gaining a better understanding of their diabetes.
At mySugr, we’re overjoyed to have been with you every step of the way. The fact that over 4 million of you have decided to join us and put your trust in mySugr makes us want to open all of our windows and burst into song. It’s our pleasure to accompany you throughout your diabetes journey, and with so many registered users worldwide, we’re well on our way to making diabetes suck less.
We love you!
Where did it all start?
Back in 2012, a group of four awesome people, two of them living with diabetes, founded mySugr in Vienna, Austria. Their goal was simple: make diabetes suck less. But having a simple goal doesn’t necessarily mean that things always run smoothly…
When mySugr first came to be, the world of diabetes therapy was a sorry state of affairs. Long feedback loops, crummy therapy experiences, overwhelming and confusing language ... Yikes! Our founders knew there were big challenges ahead. But did that phase them? No way!
Look at us now!
Fast-forward to 2022 and we’re now celebrating 4 million registered users worldwide! Not only that, we’ve achieved some pretty wonderful things along the way, like launching our very own Bolus Calculator in Europe, mySugr Pump Control*, and achieving a 4.6-star average app rating in Apple App and Google Play stores. We’re so proud and appreciative of our ever-growing team of superstars - but more importantly - we’re grateful to have 4 million users by our side.
We are sending 4 million virtual hugs your way! Thank you for your support and trust, and for challenging us with your honest feedback. You are part of what mySugr is today.
See you at 5 million!
