Who should I do if I have problems or questions about the mySugr app?

Contact the mySugr Customer Support team:

  • Directly in the app via the "Support and Feedback" section shown in the menu
  • Send an email to support@mysugr.com  

How do I use Coaching in the mySugr app?

You can find Coaching on the bottom of your mySugr app. Coaching is available to support you in everyday life between your doctor's appointments. Let your mySugr Coach know how intensively you want this service.
Do you have goals that you want to achieve? Your mySugr Coach can support you here. The more information you share, the more specifically you Coach can support you.
It is also important to allow notifications for the mySugr app in the notification settings of your smartphone. If you turn off notifications, you can only know if your Coach messaged you when you open the app.

How do I enter my data in the mySugr app ?

In addition to the manually entered data, you also have the option of connecting blood glucose meters to the app via Bluetooth or integrating data from other apps. This saves you time, so you have everything clearly in one place. 
You can manually enter a lot of different information into our diary. To do this, go to the diary view of the mySugr app. If you click on the “+” sign, you have the option to enter, for example, your blood sugar data, insulin amounts, medication, your weight, blood pressure values ​​and food photos.

Which devices can the mySugr app connect with via Bluetooth?

All devices compatible with the mySugr app that can be connected to are listed below. Under “Connections” in the mySugr app you can see the available devices for your country. 

Blood glucose meters:

  • Accu-Chek Guide
  • Accu-Chek Guide Me
  • Accu-Chek Aviva Connect
     
  • Blood Pressure and Weight Monitor in US:
  • A&D Blood Pressure Monitor
  • A&D Weight Scale
     

With an iPhone, the data automatically flows into the app after connection, provided the app is running in the background. Android operating systems from generation 8 onwards, synchronization is also carried out automatically, but the app must be opened for earlier operating systems.
The mySugr support team will be happy to help you with any connection issues.

Which smartphones are not suitable for the automatic transmission of blood glucose values via Bluetooth?

How many devices can I connect to the mySugr app?

With an iPhone, you can connect up to three devices of the same type.  
With an Android, one device of each type can be connected.

Which CGM systems can be connected to the mySugr app?

The Eversense CGM system is integrated and can be connected to the Eversense app.
Dexcom CGM can be integrated via Apple Health, i.e. for owners of an iPhone. Unfortunately, this is currently not possible for Android.

Can I connect my FreeStyle Libre to the mySugr app?

mySugr would like to offer this in the future, but currently it is unavailable.

What other health data can I synchronize with the mySugr app?

With an iPhone, you can import health data from Apple Health, such as blood pressure, weight, carbohydrates, steps, etc.

Here are the instructions for syncing with Apple Health:

  • Activate Apple Health in the app under Connections. Also check to ensure your health data is activated in the Apple Health settings. 
  • Open the mySugr diary and your steps and activities will appear in the graph . You will see steps in the graph as vertical bars and activities as horizontal bars. If you double click on the graph, the settings to view activities appear and you can adjust as you wish.
     

For Android users, you can integrate steps from Google Fit into the mySugr app.
To sync with Google Fit:

  • Open the mySugr app and select “Other data sources” in the side menu
  • Select and confirm which Google Account you want to connect to the mySugr app 
  • After successful connection, a confirmation window appears 
  • Open the mySugr diary and your steps and activities will appear in the graph . You will see steps in the graph as vertical bars and activities as horizontal bars. If you double click on the graph, the settings to view activities appear and you can adjust as you wish.
